All my life I dreamed of travelling in Mexico. I was born in Romania and raised by my grandma. Since I was a child she was watching a few hours per day Mexican telenovelas. While staying in the house I was listening to the Spanish language from these movies without paying too much attention. In time I started to listening Spanish without needing the translation. wow! And I haven't made any effort to learn it. And I began to speak in Spanish sometimes, using some words that I liked.
Thank you, my dear Grandma!

In present Winter 2015, my boyfriend Johnson asked me to go with him to Mexico for Christmas and New Year Eve. I said YES! First time travelling so far away and in a country where I could practice Spanish speaking for the first time.
Besides loving the Spanish language, I’m a very passionate painter. I love to paint, to read about painters life, to visit museums and to enjoy art. And Mexico is about Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera! I already read in the past the book about the life of Frida Kahlo and I was obsessed with her life and her paintings. And now I could see her beautiful and amazing blue house! I was reaching the heaven!

So many reasons to visit Mexico!
✔The beautiful and different culture
✔The nicest and happy people
✔The lovely art and colours that you can see everywhere in Mexico
✔Nature and the history
✔The food….and of course…. Tequila!
I visited a lot of places in Mexico and Cancun. I will write the itinerary below accompanied by photos :D
1. The flight
If you live in Europe you can take a direct flight from Paris to Mexico City or to Cancun.
2. Hotel in Mexico City
Hotel Geneve CD Mexico - A very beautiful hotel in the middle of a Mexican neighbourhood. The hotel is very elegant, they have a various and creative Mexican breakfast in an inside-garden-restaurant designed with plants and birds.
3. Some things that I made in Mexico City (4 days)
✔Historic Centre of Mexico City
✔Museum of Contemporary Art
✔The House of Frida Kahlo
✔National Museum of Anthropology (Teotihuacan)
✔The Street Food Market
✔Coyoacan. Place of coyotes
After all these days in Mexico, I took the flight to Cancun!
